Age UK

Citizen’s Advice Bureau

Citizens Advice Bureau provides free, confidential and impartial advice to people to help them resolve their legal, debt, money, housing or employment problems.

Citizens Advice Witness Service

Provide free and independent support for both prosecution and defence witnesses in every criminal court in England and Wales. Trained volunteers provide practical information about the process, as well as emotional support to help you feel more confident when giving evidence.

Crimestoppers

An independent charity helping law enforcement to locate criminals and help solve crime. Crimestoppers have an anonymous 24/7 phone number that people can call to pass on information about crime.

Food Bank

The Trussell Trust's UK food bank network works in partnership with local churches and communities to open food banks in local communities. York Foodbank provides 3 days' nutritionally balance emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them.

A wide range of support services for residents within the Castle Ward, Scarborough including accommodation, benefits, job availability, medical needs, physical and sexual abuse and rehabilitation.

The Besom

The Besom helps people make a difference. It provides a bridge between those who want to give time, money, things or skills and those who are in need. It ensures what is given is used effectively. The service it provides is free.
